This book changed my life in so many ways as a small business owner.
If only I could rewind time and read this book during the first year I was in business.... I think I'd be in a much different spot than now. I am now 5 years later into running my own business. I wouldn't say I'm not successful - but I've had a strong hand on the growth of my business, due to wanting to maintain control and quality.
Dan Martell talks about building an empire and how entrepreneurs will never want to stop working - as hard as they work for money & freedom - we'll always be plagued by the need to build or grow something.
The power we need to realize is in building businesses / project / investments whatever it be, it needs to work for us, not against us. Building out processes, playbooks and giving up control will actually be a good thing (as uncomfortable as it feels).
After one of the chapters in this book, I immediately got an assistant. Five months later, I honestly cannot imagine my life without one. I've learned to give up control and let others do the work for me (or should I say I'm in the process of learning how to do this).
There's nothing wrong with maintaining control but it will result in you doing the work that you might not want to do for the rest of your life.
I highly recommend to all my fellow business owners - who are just getting started or are maybe a few years into their business and need a change.
